Spring 2012 Fashion Trends

By Gunner Glam

Getting tired of chilly weather? Spring 2012 is anticipated to be warm and beautiful and not just for sunny afternoons.

Studio Brow loves to let people know what is hot and fashionable, and do so by sharing some of the upcoming trends for the warmer seasons.

CNN.com stated, “Looking ahead, the offerings on the catwalk for Spring and Summer 2012 indicate a definite return to femininity and glamour.”

In the past year, fashion went from masculine to more feminine in just one season, proving certain styles and clothes do not last long.

“It is a total turn-around from last year’s spring and summer collections,” said Designer and Fashionista Stephanie Solomon.

One word can sum up this year’s spring theme and that is “femininity.”

Designers have ideas of making this spring more floral, tropical, ethnic, artist and scarf inspired.

The colors are going to range from light pastels to bright and shocking neon colors.

Stylist star Nikki Pennie said, “Pastels are likely to be popular, with a lot of baby pinks, blues and yellows in different fabrics. These colors were used, along with sequins, silks and cottons on the Phillip Lim, Calvin Klein and Preen catwalks.”

The ideal spring outfit could be a simple floral blouse or top with dark skinny jeans and flats, or a pretty summer dress.

Mix the closet up this spring and make it personable.

I’m really loving what I see coming for the spring. I love the colors. It is exciting to see feminine matched with bold colors. It makes transitioning the wardrobe into summer a little easier. Thank you for sharing this with us.
