In a final attempt to survive, the Cullens begin to gather foreign Vampire clans and nomads to stand and witness against the Volturi, including the Denali, the Amazonian, the Egyptian, the Irish and Romanian Covens, with European and American nomads. SKYFALL: 50 Years of Bond

By Gunner Glam

Studio Brow, the Cosmetic UltraLounge, is devoted to providing a customer experience like no other.  Studio Brow TV in our stores is to provide entertainment for our customers and let them know about the hottest new music videos, video games and of course movies as well.

On November 9, the latest 007 film, Skyfall, starring Daniel Craig as the lead role will be released.

Skyfall is the third 007 film to star Craig and follow the linear story that began with Casino Royale and continued with Quantum of Solace.

The story line is as follows; after an operation in Istanbul ends in disaster, James Bond (Craig) is missing and presumed dead and the identities of every active MI6 undercover agent are leaked onto the internet; as a result, M (played by  Judi Dench) becomes the subject of a government review over her handling of the situation. When the service itself is attacked, Bond’s sudden reappearance gives M the pretext she needs to seek out Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem), a dangerous villain claiming a personal connection to both of them – but as he follows a trail from London to the South China Sea, Bond soon finds his loyalty to M challenged over secrets from her past.

The first 007 film to ever be released was Dr. No starring Sean Connery in 1962 which would launched 22 sequels and a string of “secret agent” films in the following decade.

The classic opening of the Bond films seen through the barrel of a gun began with Dr. No and has been used ever since.

Over the past five decades six actors have portrayed Bond on screen; Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Craig.

On a budget of $150 million, Skyfall looks to make with a promising cast and story.

2013: A Year of Comics in Film

By Gunner Glam

Studio Brow loves to treat our friends, and keep everyone informed about what’s hot in the world.

In the last 10 years there have been ongoing franchises which bring Hollywood in billions of dollars in revenue from Harry Potter to Transformers.

One solid base for creative and strong-following movie franchises is comic book adaptations.

2012’s The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon, is currently ranked number three worldwide of the highest grossing films.

One major role in this achievement was that marketing for the film began with a post-credit scene of 2008’s Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk and continued with various parts of Iron Man 2 in 2010 and Thor and Captain America in 2011.

For 2013, it looks to be one of the biggest years for comic book films as there are eight slated for release between the spring and fall.

Kicking off the 2013 summer movie season is Iron Man 3 on May 3. In the third addition to the series, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is a full-on Tony Stark-centric movie, very much inspired by the first half of the original Iron Man. He’s stripped of everything, he’s backed up against a wall and he has to use his intelligence to get out of it. He can’t call Thor (Chris Hemsworth), he can’t call Cap (Chris Evans), he can’t call Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and he can’t look for the Helicarrier in the sky. Looks to be a full-on action thrill ride.

June 14 brings Superman: The Man Of Steel, where the lead role will for the first time be played by a non-American. Harry Caville, a British actor, plays Clark Kent, a journalist in his twenties who was adopted as a child by Martha and Jonathan Kent after he was transported to Earth from the dying planet Krypton. Raised with the values of his adoptive parents, he feels alienated because of his unique super abilities and struggles to find his place in life. When the world is attacked, he becomes the hero Superman to protect its people.

June 28 is Kick-Ass 2. Universal bought the rights to a film adaptation of the comic in May 2012 and plans to produce it. Jeff Wadlow was confirmed to direct. The comic book was adapted by Matthew Vaughn, Jeff Wadlow and John Romita Jr. The proposed title for the upcoming film is Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall. Aaron Johnson and Chloë Grace Moretz were reportedly in negotiations to reprise their roles as Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl, respectively.  Mintz-Plasse also confirmed his involvement in the sequel. Yancy Butler will return as Red Mist’s mother Angie D’Amico. Lyndsy Fonseca will return in a limited role. Morris Chestnut will replace Omari Hardwick as Hit-Girl’s guardian Marcus Williams.

R.I.P.D will be released on July 19. In this film, a recently slain young cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest In Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him. The film is set to be directed by Robert Schwentke, based on the comic book of the same name by Peter M. Lenkov and published by Dark Horse Entertainment. The film will star Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges as Nick Walker and Roy Pulsipher, respectively. Filming for R.I.P.D. was completed on January 28, 2012.

The Wolverine is the sixth installment in the X-Men film series and a stand-alone sequel to the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine (starring Hugh Jackman as the titular character). The film, to be released July 26, is expected to take place in Japan, borrowing elements from Chris Claremont and Frank Miller’s 1982 limited series, which was set in the same location.

2 Guns is based onthe graphic novel written by Steven Grant. Set for release on August 16, the film follows Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington as a Navy SEAL and a DEA agent, respectively, who work together despite not knowing each is undercover. When the duo unknowingly steals millions from the CIA for the mob, they discover double-crossing associates who will do anything to retrieve the money.

On October 4 comes Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, a crime thriller neo-noir film and sequel to the 2005 film Sin City. Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are set to direct a script co-written by them and William Monahan and based on the second book in the Sin City series by Miller.

Finally, set for a November 8 release date, Thor: The Dark World is American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Thor, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It is intended to be the sequel to 2011’s Thor and the eighth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Alan Taylor is set to direct a screenplay by Don Payne and Robert Rodat with Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba and Rene Russo reprising their roles from the first film.

All of the above lead into Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, X-Men: Days Of Future Past and Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014.

Ultimately to follow is The Avengers 2 in 2015, where more heroes and villains will be added to the mix between now and then through the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s sequels.

Why Brows? Part Four

By Gunner Glam

In our latest entry about the significance of eyebrows, we thought we would share the ways eyebrows are there for protection.

Eyebrows are pretty weird when you think about them! They’re two little bands of hair growing right above our eyeballs.

The ancestors of modern people were a lot hairier, but over time, a lot of that hair was lost. Somehow our eyebrows remained. They aren’t just there for decoration.

They play a very important role in keeping moisture out of our eyes. Just like an umbrella keeps our bodies dry from the rain, our hairy eyebrows keep our eyes dry from rain or sweat. Eyebrows, just like eyelashes and eyelids, actually work to protect your eyes.

We also use our exceptionally mobile eyebrows to communicate our emotions. The position of eyebrows emphasizes expressions on the human face thus giving others an accurate picture of the individual’s mood.

Smile comes in many forms, from expressions of merriment or contentment to leers, smirks and even anger. The position of the brow, emphasized by the eyebrows, is what gives us a visual cue to what an individual is really feeling.

Thanks for reading.

Why Brows? Part Three

By Gunner Glam

Continuing our topic of eyebrows, Studio Brow wanted to share some info taken from an article at ssdivining.homestead.com.

Eyebrows represent the senses, pleasures and attraction. If the eyebrows are thicker toward the nose and thin out toward the edges, this means that the person will set his own pleasures aside the older he gets.

Heavy eyebrows  indicate great strength.

Thick eyebrows belong to someone who is out-spoken. Exceedingly thick can mean a dictatorial nature.

Thin eyebrows show precision and attention to detail. But, very thin can mean fussiness.

Straight eyebrows show someone who is generally active, and on top of things; but can forgo details.

Gently curved eyebrows:  suggest a balanced self aware caring person.

However, downward sloping eyebrows show sambition.

Arched  eyebrows show strong sense of curiousity, but can indicate problems trusting in relationships.

Widely spaced eyebrows show someone who is influenced easily.

Close knit eyebrows show someone who is nervous.

Eyebrows that meet at the center are a sign of bad luck.

In addition, eyebrows can send body language. Being near the eyes, which are the major senders of signals, they are highly visible communicators, although the limited control of muscles around them can limit what they say.

Lowered

Lowering the eyebrows conceals the eyes to a certain degree. Particularly with a lowered head, this can thus indicate deception or a desire that eye signals are harder to see.

Lowered eyebrows may also indicate annoyance, perhaps effectively saying ‘I am so displeased, I do not want to look at you.’ Related to this, lowered eyebrows are a sign of a dominant person.

Raised

When a person is surprised, their eyebrows are often raised. This typically happens as a part of opening the eyes wider, perhaps to see more clearly what is going on. The more the surprise, the higher the eyebrows are raised.

Raising the eyebrows asks for attention from others and can signal general emphasis. When as question is asked and the eyebrows are raised afterwards, this is a clear invitation to answer the question.

Opposite to the dominant lowering of eyebrows, raising eyebrows is may be a submissive move or indicate openness, as it lets the other person see your eyes (‘I am not looking where I should not!’). Dominance and attractive signals can often be similar and raising eyebrows to expose eyes can also be a signal of attraction (‘I’m looking at you, gorgeous. Can you see?’).

Raising a single eyebrow is something that only some people can do and can be a bit more wry in its meaning, for example showing cynicism and asking ‘Are you sure?’ when the other person appears to be talking with limited accuracy.

Middle-raised

By pushing together the eyebrows and pulling up the forehead, the eyebrows can be made to slope outwards. This can indicate relief (‘Whew!’). It can also indicate anxiety (‘Oh no!’).

Middle-lowered

When the middle of the eyebrows are pulled down so they slope inwards, this often shows that the person is angry or frustrated. It can also indicate intense concentration.

Middle together

When the eyebrows are pulled together, it can indicate confusion or an attempt to perceive better (‘what’s that?’).

An inverted horseshoe-shaped fold between the brow is known as ‘Darwin’s grief muscle’ and often indicates sadness.

Up and down

When we see people we know, we often give a quick single up-down ‘eyebrow flash’ in recognition and greeting. This is a common signal across all primates, including monkeys and gorillas.

Rapid and repeated up and down movement may be an exaggerated signal, meaning ‘Well how about that then!’ in the way that Groucho Marx used it.

Ayala vs. Mackey for WBC Middleweight Championship

Attention family and friends; Studio Brow wants to share some support for our champion, Elvin Ayala, who will be defending his title against John Mackey on Saturday, July 21 at @ the Mohegan Sun Arena.

By Gunner Glam

BRANFORD, Conn. – When Elvin Ayala takes a break, it is only between punches to his opponents’ faces.

Ayala said this is the time to build himself up and take it to them.

Since 2010, Studio Brow has sponsored Ayala and backed him in each professional fight since then.

Massimo Ligouri is currently managing Ayala, and the fighter said he will be training with Marshall Kaufman of Reading, PA at the Muhammad Ali training camp in the Pocono Mountains.

As Ayala continues fighting, Studio Brow is building its brand.

“I feel comfortable working with Marshall (Kaufman). It will definitely be a positive experience,” he said.

After his March 30 bout with Eric Mitchell, Ayala said he has been keeping a good diet and running although not as strict as his pre-fight training.

When fighters win a title they have three months to defend it, otherwise it is stripped from them, he said.

“While I was in Florida, I did running and sparred with Demetrius Andrade,” he said.

While not in fight mode, Ayala said he really enjoys spending time with his family and “puts the beast away for a little bit.”

Because it is very demanding, physically and mentally, he said he needs to keep the time training and time spent with his family, such as his children and brothers, separate.

Whether or not he wins the eventual final match of his career, Ayala said what is most important is the experience of a good, strong fight to the finish.

At this point, Ayala said, “It is all or nothing. I am going hard and will make an impact. I want to win these titles and retire happy.”

All-Time Action Heroes

By Gunner Glam

When it comes to movies, some will make people laugh and some will make people cry. Studio Brow would like to share the top characters who make adrenaline rush and keep folks on the edge of their seats.

Alien – Ellen Ripley (played by Sigourney Weaver) – Ripley is introduced in Alien (1979) as a warrant officer aboard the Nostromo, a spaceship from planet Thedus returning to Earth. Placed in stasis, she awakens after receiving a transmission of unknown origin from a nearby planetoid. Following their landing, an unknown creature infiltrates the ship, and kills every member of the crew. Ripley is the only member to escape from the Nostromo prior to its explosion, which she deliberately commenced to kill the monster. However, she discovers that the Alien is also aboard the ship’s shuttle, but expels it into space before putting herself in stasis for the return trip to Earth.

Tomb Raider – Lara Croft (played by Angelina Jolie) – Although she had not been a fan of the character, Jolie considered the role as a “big responsibility,” citing anxiety about fans’ high expectations. Producer Lawrence Gordon felt she was a perfect fit for the role. Jolie trained rigorously for the action scenes required for the role, occasionally sustaining injuries. Her training focused on practising the physical skills necessary to perform the film’s stunts. The difficulty of the training and injuries discouraged her, but she continued working through production. Jolie also encountered difficulties when working the guns, bungee jumping, and manoeuvring with the braid. West had not anticipated that Jolie would do her own stunts, and was impressed, as was stunt coordinator Simon Crane, by the effort she put into them.

Underworld – Selene (played by Kate Beckinsale) Beckinsale stated that it was markedly different to her previous work and  said she was grateful for the change of pace after appearing in “a bunch of period stuff and then a bunch of romantic comedies.” Beckinsale said, “It was quite a challenge for me to play an action heroine and pull off all that training when [in real life] I can’t catch a ball if it’s coming my way.”

The Brave One – Erica Bain (played by Jodie Foster) As radio show host Erica Bain (Foster) and her Indian fiancé, David (Naveen Andrews), are walking their dog at Stranger’s Gate in New York’s Central Park, they are attacked by three violent criminals. David dies from his injuries, but Bain survives. Angry and traumatized, she attempts to purchase a gun. Unwilling to wait the month required to obtain a notice of approval, she acquires a pistol illegally, and is drawn into a world of vigilantism, killing random criminals and attempting to track down the thugs who killed David.

Machete – She’ (played by Michelle Rodriguez) Also called Luz, a taco-truck lady with a rebellious spirit and revolutionary heart. Rodriguez was the first actor to be cast in the film who wasn’t in the film’s original trailer. Machete (played by Danny Trejo), with the help of Luz (Rodriguez), the leader of an illegal immigrant aid movement known as the Network, recruits Padre (Cheech Marin), Machete’s “holy” brother.

First Blood – John Rambo (played by Sylvester Stallone) was deployed to South Vietnam in September 1966. He returned to the U.S. in 1967 and began training in the Special Forces (Green Berets) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In late 1969, Rambo was re-deployed to Vietnam. In November 1971, he was captured by North Vietnamese forces near the Chinese-Vietnamese border and held at a POW camp, where he and other American POWs were repeatedly tortured. Rambo escaped captivity in May 1972, but was then re-deployed. At some point in his military career he also apparently received training in flying helicopters. Rambo received his military discharge on September 17, 1974. Upon his return to the U.S., Rambo discovered that many American civilians hated the returning soldiers from Vietnam, and he claimed himself along with other returning soldiers were subject to humiliation and embarrassment by anti-war “hippies” who throw garbage at them, call them “baby killers,” and exclude them from society. His experiences in Vietnam and back home resulted in an extreme case of post-traumatic stress disorder. At the same time, inner questions of self identity cause Rambo to lash out at society rather than handling difficult situations in a “civilized” manner. This is where First Blood picks up from.

Die Hard – John McClane (played by Bruce Willis) In the first Die Hard film in 1988, John McClane is an Irish-American detective with the New York City Police Department and has been an on the force for 11 years. At the beginning of the first film, he is recently separated from his wife Holly Gennero (Bonnie Bedelia), who is using her maiden name. Holly moved to Los Angeles several months earlier to pursue a career, leading to their separation when McClane stayed behind (to officially cope with some open cases but unofficially because he didn’t expect her to last). They have two children, Lucy and John. On Christmas Eve, McClane visits his wife at her workplace at the Nakatomi Plaza. Simultaneously, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) initiates his plan to steal $640 million in bearer bonds and takes the Nakatomi Company employees, including Holly, hostage, posing as terrorists to draw attention away from the theft, their final plan being to blow up the building and make it appear as though they died with the hostages in the explosion. McClane escapes detection and manages to hide throughout the building, killing the terrorists one by one.

They Live – John Nada (played by Roddy Piper) After a budget of approximately three million dollars was raised, Carpenter began casting the film. For the crucial role of Nada, the filmmaker cast professional wrestler Roddy Piper, whom he met at WrestleMania III earlier in 1987. For Carpenter it was an easy choice: “Unlike most Hollywood actors, Roddy has life written all over him.”  A nameless unemployed drifter, referred to as “Nada” (Piper), finds construction work in Los Angeles and befriends fellow worker Frank Armitage (Keith David), who leads him to a local shantytown soup kitchen. There Nada notices strange activity around the church and procures an untouched, hidden box. At an alleyway he opens it to find it contains black sunglasses and takes a pair, which reveal the true look of an alien race controlling what people see and think, while disguised as human beings.

Army of Darkness – Ash Williams (played by Bruce Campbell) created by director Sam Raimi. Ash has faced off against his loved ones inside an abandoned cabin as they are possessed by “deadites,” the evil souls of the dead. He was named the 24th Greatest Movie Character of All Time by Empire Magazine. In the film, Ash is accidentally transported to 1300 A.D., where he must battle an army of the dead and retrieve the Necronomicon so he can return home. Ash must also defeat his alter-ego known as “Bad Ash” who is leading the Army of Darkness to steal the Necronomicon (Book of the Dead).

Terminator 2 – T-800 (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) A Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 Terminator, is the main antagonist in the original Terminator film. An identical Series 800 Model 101, having been reprogrammed by the resistance in the future, is one of the protagonists in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Schwarzenegger plays an updated T-850 unit, with the same outward appearance as the Series 800. His character is destroyed at the end of each of these films. The fourth installment, Terminator Salvation, reveals the origin of the 101 Model.

SSX is a snowboarding video game in the SSX series of video games from Electronic Arts for Playstation 3 and XBox 360. First revealed at the Spike Video Game Awards in 2010 under the working title SSX: Deadly Descents, the game’s trailer appeared to show a much darker direction to the series than previous entries, though later footage revealed a return to a lighter tone. SSX includes the use of real locations, rather than the fictional courses of past games.

According to the game’s producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, “Asura’s Wrath takes elements from Hindu mythology and blends them with science fiction. In the game, Asura is a demigod fighting to reclaim his daughter from the deities who kidnapped her and banished him from the mortal world.”

UFC Undisputed 3 is a mixed martial arts video game featuring Ultimate Fighting Championship properties and fighters developed by Yuke’s and published by THQ. It was released February 14, 2012 in North America and February 17, 2012 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the third and last game to be released under THQ’s 2007 agreement with the UFC. UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva won the fan vote to appear on the cover for the game. The demo was released on January 24, 2012. On June 5, 2012, it was announced that THQ had sold the UFC license to Electronic Arts and closed the studio that worked on the franchise.

Might As Well Jump!

By Gunner Glam

Instead of just being the action of springing clear off the ground or other support by a sudden muscular effort, jumping can also take on different meanings.

Studio Brow thought we would share just how many ways there are to JUMP!

  • Jump the Shark – An idiom created by American radio personality, Jon Hein, that is used to describe the moment in the evolution of a television show when it begins a decline in quality that is beyond recovery. The phrase is also used to refer to a particular scene, episode or aspect of a show in which the writers use some type of “gimmick” in a desperate attempt to keep viewers’ interest.

In its initial usage, it referred to the point in a television program’s history when the program had outlived its freshness and viewers had begun to feel that the show’s writers were out of new ideas. Often, it is after great effort was made to revive interest in the show by the writers, producers or network, particularly in Happy Days when Fonzy literally jumped over a shark using water skis.

The usage of “jump the shark” has subsequently broadened beyond television, indicating the moment in its evolution when a brand, design or creative effort moves beyond the essential qualities that initially defined its success, beyond relevance or recovery.

  • Jump the Gun – To being before the starting signal, originally used in sports contests that are started by firing a gun. Also to do something too soon, especially without thinking carefully about it.
  • Jump Ship –  When someone leaves a job or activity suddenly before it is finished, especially to go and work for someone else.
  • Jumping Jacks – A physical jumping exercise performed by jumping to a position with the legs spread wide and the hands touching overhead and then returning to a position with the feet together and the arms at the sides. The name comes from the traditional toy of the same title.
  • Get Jumped – When a person gets attacked by a group of two or more of people.
  • Feeling Jumpy – When a person feels nervous, high-strung, edgy characterized by fitful, jerky movements.
  • Long Jump – A Track & Field event in which athletes combine speed, strength and agility in an attempt to leap as far as possible from a take off point. This event has been an Olympic medal event since the first modern Olympics in 1896 and has a history in the Ancient Olympic Games.
  • Jump Suit – Originally referred to the utilitarian one-piece garments used by skydivers, but has come to be used as a common term for any one-piece garment with sleeves and legs. Particular usage includes for pilots, drivers, sportspersons and prisoners.
Some music that makes you Jump!:

Pinterest

Just some quick info. I signed up with Pinterest and it is definitely an amazing site. I used my Facebook account to receive an invitation.

It a pinboard-styled social photo-sharing website. The service there allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections.

The site’s mission is to “connect everyone in the world through the ‘things’ they find interesting.”

The best thing about information on the internet is being able to post it wherever you like.

Deja Vu: All Over Again

By Gunner Glam

Ever had the feeling new activities had been experienced before? Sensing exact same conditions? See and hear the same thing before? This is at times confusing because at the people are not able to remember when and where these activities were performed.

It is as in a dream, but why and how could actually happen. This is the mystery of Déjà Vu and Studio Brow would like to let you know the ways the past can repeat itself.

Literally translated to, “already seen,” Déjà vu is the experience of feeling sure that one has already witnessed or experienced a current situation, even though the exact circumstances of the prior encounter are uncertain and were perhaps imagined.

The term was coined by a French psychic researcher, Emile Boirac (1851–1917) in his book L’Avenir des sciences psychiquesThe Future of Psychic Sciences, which expanded upon an essay he wrote while an undergraduate.

The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of “eeriness,” “strangeness,” “weirdness,” or what Sigmund Freud calls “the uncanny.”

The “previous” experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience has genuinely happened in the past.

Scientific Research

The most likely explanation of déjà vu is not that it is an act of “precognition” or “prophecy,” but rather that it is an anomaly of memory, giving the false impression that an experience is “being recalled.”

This explanation is supported by the fact that the sense of “recollection” at the time is strong in most cases, but that the circumstances of the “previous” experience such as when, where and how the earlier experience occurred, are quite uncertain or believed to be impossible.

Likewise, as time passes, subjects can exhibit a strong recollection of having the “unsettling” experience of déjà vu itself, but little or no recollection of the specifics of the event(s) or circumstance(s) they were “remembering” when they had the déjà vu experience.

In particular, this may result from an overlap between the neurological systems responsible for short-term memory and those responsible for long-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the past).

The events would be stored into memory before the conscious part of the brain even receives the information and processes it.

Memory-based Explanations

The similarity between a déjà-vu-eliciting stimulus and an existing, but different, memory trace may lead to the sensation. Thus, encountering something which evokes the implicit associations of an experience or sensation that cannot be remembered may lead to déjà vu.

In an effort to experimentally reproduce the sensation, Banister and Zangwill (1941) used hypnosis to give participants posthypnotic amnesia for material they had already seen.

When this was later re-encountered, the restricted activation caused thereafter by the posthypnotic amnesia resulted in three of the 10 participants reporting what the authors termed “paramnesias”.

Memory-based explanations may lead to the development of a number of non-invasive experimental methods by which a long sought-after analogue of déjà vu can be reliably produced that would allow it to be tested under well-controlled experimental conditions.

Cleary suggests that déjà vu may be a form of familiarity-based recognition (recognition that is based on a feeling of familiarity with a situation) and that laboratory methods of probing familiarity-based recognition hold promise for probing déjà vu in laboratory settings.

Another possible explanation for the phenomenon of déjà vu is the occurrence of “cryptomnesia,” which is where information learned is forgotten but nevertheless stored in the brain, and similar occurrences invoke the contained knowledge, leading to a feeling of familiarity because of the situation, event or emotional/vocal content, known as “déjà vu.”

Presque vu (Tip of the tongue)

Déjà vu is similar to, but distinct from, the phenomenon called tip of the tongue, a situation in which when one cannot recall a familiar word or name, but with effort one eventually recalls the elusive memory.

In contrast, déjà vu is a feeling that the present situation has occurred before, but the details are elusive because the situation never happened before.

Presque vu, from French, meaning “almost seen,” is the sensation of being on the brink of an epiphany. Often very disorienting and distracting, presque vu rarely leads to an actual breakthrough.

Frequently, one experiencing presque vu will say that they have something “on the tip of my tongue.”

Film

Déjà vu provides a plot point in The Matrix, a 1999 science fiction-action film written and directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski. The protagonist, Neo, glances at a black cat and comments that he has just experienced déjà vu. Those with a knowledge of ‘The Matrix’ and its internal workings state that déjà vu means something within the Matrix was altered from its prior state and is referred to as a “glitch.”

The 2006 science fiction film Déjà vu revolves around a US federal law enforcement officer using an instrument called Snowhite to view the past 4 and a half days of anywhere in the world (limited radius as permissible by the program) in order to solve a murder and a terrorist bomb attack on a ferry that was being boarded by about 500 citizens and military members.

Further Research

According to the web site, Psychology face, it is not merely a natural phenomenon that can not be explained scientifically because scientists have found an answer to the phenomena that exist in the human mind. Déjà vu occurs because of a wave that is delivered into the brain.

Waves are created by every action taken by humans. These waves are then translated into electrical impulses and sent to the brain and interpreted.

There are times when the human brain has a high sensitivity so the waves were read in the form of a certain amplitude and frequency depending on the quality of the brains.

A simple example is when people hum a song. Later people could turn on the radio and it is playing songs that were being thought of earlier.

People immediately think “déjà vu”. In fact, this shows that the radio waves sent by the transmitting station, as well accepted by the radio, also read by human brains because of the nature of the brain is super-sensitive in receiving electric waves that were airing.
